Just a quick post to say I've finally popped a few things in my blog shop, Gillyflower's Vintage and Handmade Shop if you fancy a bit of late night browsing!
Not much in there yet, but am hoping to add to it over the next few weeks with a combination of "sale" items, where I just have a few things left of each type of item that I've been selling at Craft Fairs for the last year or two, such as flower pin cushions (in shop, 4 left), lavender sachets and hearts, bunting, applique door stops and a few other items.
And then I hope to have the newer items that I've been working on in the last year, using much more vintage fabric - at the moment the crazy patchwork lavender hearts I posted about a few weeks back are now in the shop (the ones on my header!)
I also would like to put in some vintage jewellery (have collected this for years!), vintage scarves, and vintage linens and fabrics over the next few weeks!
Hope you enjoy looking!
Those all look lovely Gill. I really like the pin cushions there great and such lovely fabrics you use for your makes. good luck with the shop and sales, dee x
ReplyDeleteHi Gill,
ReplyDeleteYour shop looks really great with lots of pretty things. I look forward to seeing all the other goodies you are going to tempt us with too!
Hope you have lots of success.x
Everything looks so cheerful and well made! I've always wanted to sew, but alas, I am a terrible stooge with a machine. Thanks so much for visiting my blog! Donna is one of my very favorite bloggy friends, so any blog friend of hers is one of mine without a doubt. I look forward to keeping up with you and your makes :)
ReplyDeleteThankyou for your kind comment on my blog.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely colourful blog you have! I love all your sewing bits and bobs, they're beautiful :o)
I like your photos of Bessie and Logan -he looks like a real sweetie :)
I look forward to following along with you.
You have such a lovely blog/shop name too :o)
have a great week. :)
PS. Sorry, forgot to say that I actually made my wood crochet hook from a huge charity shop knitting needle! (I didn't know I could wittle wood either lol).
ReplyDeleteI couldn't find one anywhere the size I wanted, so getting impatient, i bought a pair of wood needles, cut the end off with some secataurs, and used a scalpel and sanding paper to wittle away :o)
I love it, and it works beautifully :o)
Your shop looks great Gill, wishing you every success with it!
