Yes some of the 'blue stuff' would be nice, it's been dull and breezy here today but very warm! I love all your new supplies and of course your pretty hearts! Vivienne x P.S. Good news about the tomatoes. :)
I just wanted to say hello and what a lovely sweet blog you have i found you via bord and butik. I love your vintage fabrics and your crochet hexagon work that's really lovely. So pleased to have found you i will be popping back again real soon. dee x
They're lovely. I like the look of your red bits, wont they make nice Christmassy bits :) I fancy the pompom trim. I'd like to make some cushions with pompom edging but I know Molly dog's hair sticks to it. Look forward to seeing your blue bits - my fave colour :)
Lovely and very spring-like hearts Gilly...and I'm sure they just smell like summer too with the lavender in them...a heart full of both seasons! Wishing you (and me) blue skies, warmth and sun...and a happy belated Mother's Day! I didn't realize you celebrated before we do...looked and sounded like a lovely day! Sweet Bella's flowers look very pretty by the door! xo J~
Just found your blog through another one - and it's just my kind of thing - have followed you and subscribed too and I shall have a happy snoop around now....just off to make another cup of coffee and then I shall settle down for a read (naughty though as it's 11am and I am still in PJ's....oops.)
Thankyou for your lovely comments on my posts. I have been to Chartwell many, many years ago. I think that it is probably one of the NT's best properties. When you go there you knew why Churchill always wanted to go back there. The gardens are fantastic - your interesting link must make it extra magical when you visit. June
Love those hearts, Gill, still squeezing mine (which reminds me - had a thank you card to send to you but my husband recycled the packaging so don't have your address!). What are you going to do with that lovely bit of crochet edging in the first picture? Lovely blue skies here today, hope you have had some too. Becky x
Glad lots of people are enjoying these lovely blue skies today - took a few shots which I'll post tomorrow. Heidi, not sure yet what I'm going to do with the red braids - will probably edge a cushion or bag I would think - they were just so lovely I thought I should have them on hand for when the right moment strikes! Becky, not sure yet about the green crochet edging - have already trimmed some pillow cases with some, and some cushions, so i expect something similar - or a bag. Most of the braids I buy or trims I crochet are with cushions and bag trims in mind. Have a great evening everyone - have just sat outside in the evening sun (after one dinner cooked, one more to go!) with a glass of wine - bliss! Gill xx
Oooh, wine in the garden after dinner. Funny, we were only talking about doing that in work today! Since having children I seem to have given up this little luxury. Enjoy the sun tomorrow, it's going to be even better than today apparently. Thanks for e-mail, can sort my thank you now! Becky x
Adorable hearts, love the red braids they look fab!

ReplyDeleteNow I'm mixed up about the cushions too....but I have a blog idea for perhaps next week.
