Wow, how absolutely beautiful, stunning. You must be very proud. I'd be over the moon if I was the reciprient! It is strange how these projects become part of our lives, and there is a small void once they are finished. A big pat on the back, that is amazing x

Hi Gill,
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful gift you've made for your friend's granddaughter. This will be something for her to treasure always! I love the precious "popcorn" design with the gorgeous flowers.
My mother crocheted a blanket for our son when he was born. It was done in all pastels and white, and it means so much to me that she took the time to make this. It was done in "Granny Squares." Is that what you call them over there? :) Anyway, she later crocheted another one in mauve and white for me, and I still have it in our living room. There is nothing quite so special as a handmade gift.
You did a lovely job on this baby blanket, and I've enjoyed seeing it. Have a wonderful week, Gill!
Hugs,
