A pillow-shaped pin cushion made from vintage white linen, a scrap of pretty fabric, a vintage button, with some little embroidered details.
Filled with soft filling and a scoop of lavender and off to a friend as a "Thank-You".
So nice to make something completely different for a change.
Ooh, that's gorgeous - really fresh and pretty. Lovely colours. Lucky friend! X
ReplyDeleteAdorable! The green fabric is gorgeous. A very lucky friend, I'm sure she'll love it! See you soon.

It's very pretty!
ReplyDeleteGood Evening Gill, I had not realised the size of your pin cushion until I saw the photograph with the pin wheel. It is so beautiful. Adding lavender was a lovely touch, as each time your friend places a pin in the pin cushion, it will release the beautiful lavender fragrance. I know your friend will be thrilled to pieces when she receives her gift.

Thanks for your comment Daphne! Yes it is quite small but not tiny! I like the idea of a little lavender in a pin cushion. I don't seem to be able to leave a comment on your blog, or reply to your comment by email, which is why I'm thanking you here for your comment!
