A Few Cushions

1930's reproduction fabric patchwork cushions with embroidered hearts

Red gingham and white linen Chicken Scratch embroidered heart cushion
with vintage embroderie anglais trim

Antique European linen grain sack cushions............made from a beautiful textured thick linen grain sack with red stripes, these look wonderful in pale country style interiors with French, Scandinavian or Prairie style influences.......they look brilliant on my white sofa, and would look equally good on brown leather.

All of these cushions are now listed in my Etsy Shop here

I will be adding quite a few more vintage fabric cushions over the next week or so in various different styles, including some beautiful 1930's and 40's Bavarian pale florals, pretty 1950's pastel florals from the US, and bright 1960's and 70's patchwork cushions.

Thank you for all your comments on my last post!
I am slowly working my way through everyone's blogs, enjoying your beautiful Spring flowers, Easter trips, sewing and crochet projects and just generally catching up with you.

Happy May Day, supposedly the first day of Summer (according to wiki) !!!!

Well, it doesn't feel like it here at the moment, but hey, its not raining, there's a tin full of homemade blackberry muffins and a free day ahead to sew and add cushions to my shop - a rare day!

Have a good day wherever you are.

I love the flowers with embroidered hearts - oh, I love them all - and those sophisticated linen ones are to die for! Beautiful work, you should be very proud of them! Enjoy your sewing day but be super careful to keep those staining blackberries away from your gorgeous work …. Joy x
