The Red Roses Tea Towel
The first tea towel is a beautiful elegant one in shades of cream and caramel, with a beautiful silhouette of the Queen surrounded by deep red roses and gold flowers and foliage.
There is a pretty deep red traditional pattern all round the edge, and the dates and a commemoration.
The Union Jack Bunting Tea Towel

The Union Jack Bunting Tea Towel
The second tea towel has a lovely pale blue and white background with Union Jack bunting at the top and bottom, the number 60 in Union Jack style, and an ornate design in deep pink with a crown on top.
There are pretty bunches of roses, and the whole tea towel has a vintage feel to it!

Hello Gill, I have to confess that it is the first time that I have subscribed to become a follower. But your tea towels are so pretty that I thought I had to try winning one. Both beautiful, but as I have to give my preference, I'll choose the red rose tea towel. We're having a street party in my street, which happens to be Downing Street too, but in Wiltshire. Busy trying to finish sewing the buntings. Blogs like yours really inspire me. So I can just say a huge thank you for finding the time to share your ideas with us all.
ReplyDeleteCiao Gill, sono contenta di conoscerti, partecipo al giveaway, ma anche se non vinco non importa, ho comunque un'amica in più!!
ReplyDeleteJust joined your lovely site. I'd love the roses tea towel if I'm lucky enough to win xx
ReplyDeleteHi Gill! I just bought a TShirt to wear on Friday, at work. It says: "The only way is British" because I am not British, so I thought it would be funny. As you know, Gill, I love this beautiful Land, as it has been my home for a long time!
ReplyDeleteI love the Tea towel with the Union Jacks and, most of all, I adore the pin cushion.
If I won, I would give the tea towel to my sister Nunzia, who loves the Union Jack, and flags, in general, and the lovely pin cushion would go to my other sister Nietta, who is very talented, like you. She, too, makes wonderful furnishings!I wish I could!
So... your lovely giveaways would travel all the way to sunny Italy!
CIAO, CIAO!
